What do Bexters Soda Crystals contain?

Bexters Soda Crystals contain Sodium Carbonate which is made to a patented recipe.  Sodium Carbonate is derived by combining natural limestone (calcium carbonate) mined in the Barossa Valley with natural sodium chloride from South Australia which is heat processed and blended into a special formulation known as Bexters Soda Crystals.

How do I use them?

Bexters Soda Crystals are often recommended by Bowen Therapists, Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists to assist in reducing pain, swelling and inflammation.  It can be used as a treatment at home following your therapist’s treatment.  They can be used as a poultice, in the bath or foot bath, to help reduce pain and swelling.

• Bathing/soaking: Dissolve 1 cup of Crystals to a warm bath ( ½ cup for sensitive skin) and soak for ½ an hour. Take care when stepping in and out of the bath as it may be slippery.
• Foot Baths: For swollen and aching feet, gout, bunions and heel spurs add ½ cup to a warm foot bath and soak for up to ½ an hour. Then apply Bowtech Ease for enhanced results.
• Poultice/Pack: Place dry crystals 1cm thick in a  stocking or sock.  Wrap cling wrap around the stocking or sock filled with crystals to secure and stop leakage, then secure with a stretch bandage.  Leave on for a minimum of 3-4 hours – preferably overnight.  Use only on alternate days.  Test a small trial patch on the skin for sensitivity.
